Our client, located in East Windsor, NJ is seeking an IT - JD Edwards Senior Developer for an immediate full-time position. Details include:
The JD Edwards Senior Developer will design, develop, test, implement, and support core enterprise applications and organizational business processes. Primary responsibility involves designing solutions with the JDE EnterpriseOne toolset, including integration points with other enterprise applications in support of large project initiatives, small enhancement requests, and production support type level of effort. The ideal candidate will follow design/programming standards, and make recommendations for best practices.
The JD Edwards Senior Developer will operate in both a functional and technical position requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
-Designs, develops, and tests system applications utilizing defined development processes, tools, standards, frameworks and methodologies in accordance with global development and systems standards while delivering quality software that meets requirements.
-Performs developer unit testing and executes a comprehensive Systems Test.
-Analyzes and evaluates programming requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost and time required, and compatibility with current system. Consults with functional business analyst to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
-Monitors system services or 3rd party applications ensuring consistent service reliability and timely problem resolution.
-Completes a variety of project development and testing tasks in support of major upgrades and large projects.
-Debugs complicated business application software and recommends solutions.
-Interfaces with functional business analysts to determine system business application requirements and resolve program problems.
-Completes emergency support tasks to bring the JD Edwards applications back online.
-Provides technical leadership and guidance in the assessment of existing processes and their continuous improvement.
-Provide primary or secondary functional support for other ancillary business software.
-Maintains up-to-date documentation of newly developed systems and operations.
Qualification & Requirements:
-5
years JD Edwards One World software programming experience is required.
-5
years application design and analysis experience is required.
-Expert understanding of JDE E1 Toolset.
-Expert understanding of JDE E1 database structure and relational databases.
-Expert at using SQL.
-C programming experience is required.
-Application integration experience is required.
-Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) and/or five to seven years related experience.
-One year of infrastructure experience utilizing AS400, Citrix, CNC, is required.
-Microsoft development environment experience.
-Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle is required.
-JDE EnterpriseOne 9.00 expertise and experience supporting EnterpriseOne applications in Finance, -Sales, Distribution, HR, and Operations is preferred.
-Knowledge of JDE portals and portlet development and enablement.
-Experience with JDeveloper and JDE Tools along with a working knowledge of the JDE out-of-the-box -Business Services (BSSVs).
-Knowledge of XML, BI Publisher, and CreateForm.
-Very good understanding of CNC.
-Ability to learn how to troubleshoot 3rd party Business Applications.
-Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
