Sr. Manager Production

Job Summary:
TheProduction Manager is responsible for executing a weekly production plan whileensuring that all safety, quality and productivity goals are met and all GMPand OTC procedures are followed. He/sheis responsible for operational excellence via continuous improvement inquality, efficiency and team development. Overall, this position ensures that all operations are executedefficiently and effectively without any compromise to safety and quality.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Developcapabilities of direct reports by providing mentoring, constructive feedbackand training.
Providesupport to the Supervisors in the daily management of the departmentactivities.
Charterprojects to drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality andproductivity.
Participatein weekly OEE meetings and identify/lead projects to drive OEE improvement
Workwith the Quality department to resolve finished good non-conformances andidentify corrective actions.
Identityand implement ideas to improve RTFT
Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:
Directreports: to ensure departmentalobjectives re met, procedures are followed and proper training is being plannedand executed
Quality: a strong and collaborative relationship is paramountfor the required identification and implementation of corrective actionsrelated to quality issues found in production
Planning: interacting with Planning team on a dailybasis to set proper weekly production goals that both meet the customer's needsand optimize the department's performance goals
Maintenance& Technical: work with bothMaintenance and Technical teams to identify projects to improve plantperformance and plan and execute line trials to support new product launches
Qualifications& Competencies: (Listrequired or desired education; competencies; experiences; soft & hardskills)
5years Supervisory experience in fast paced, GMP production environment required
Demonstratedability to build a high performing team and achieve results
Demonstratedproblem solving, conflict resolution and decision making skills
Rootcause analysis and Corrective Action implementation
Abilityto build and foster strong cross-functional relationships
4-yearcollege degree (Engineering) preferred. 5 years relevant industry experience (including managerial) required
Cosmeticor Pharmaceutical experience preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
