Senior Manager, Project Engineering

Job Summary:   The Project Engineering Senior Manager plans, designs, executes, and summarizes projects to improve operational capability, capacity, and efficiency for core operational areas (Production, Facilities, or Bulk Manufacturing).    Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Initiates and completes capital investment projects to improve plant capability, innovation, and capacity. Work with Production and Manufacturing to identify projects to improve operational performance through process and/or equipment changes Manage Facility projects to maintain or improve core infrastructure and utilities (boilers, compressed air, waste water treatment, roofing, HVAC, etc.) Provide direction to and instruct other project engineers, contract engineers, or other support staff to improve their capability and job knowledge to execute projects successfully Collect and reorganize data and information to present to senior management to support justification for projects and results Work with all departments to ensure that we have synergy between our facility, equipment, our products, and our processes Ensure adherence to all Quality, Safety, and Environmental requirements Coaching, developing and mentoring junior engineers   Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders: Key leader for the plant's Engineering team. Provide technical support to various site departments, including Manufacturing, Production, Facilities, Maintenance, Technical, and Quality. Actively communicate with vendors and suppliers   Financial Accountability Manage assigned projects for scope, schedule, and cost. Ensures stakeholder requirements are understood and integrated into the project scope. Manage vendors and consultants to ensure that contracts contain appropriate technical specifications and are delivered as required.   Qualifications & Competencies: Bachelor Degree in Engineering required.  Master's degree in an engineering discipline a plus. Minimum 7 years prior engineering experience in a cGMP-regulated industry.  Cosmetic industry experience is a plus. 5+ years of Managerial experience required. Familiarity with system qualification, such as FAT/SAT, commissioning, and IQ/OQ validation. Familiarity with formulation, filling, packaging equipment, utilities, and HVAC systems.  Also familiar with Building Automation Systems (BAS). Working knowledge for equipment design and operation. Working knowledge of statistical analysis, including SPC Working knowledge of AutoCAD LT required. Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements including electronic records and signatures (21 CFR Part 11), change control, validation. Self-starter capable of adapting quickly and working with minimal or no supervision in unfamiliar, complex, and critical situations while balancing multiple priorities and responsibilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and influence individuals throughout all levels of the organization. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.  Familiarity with enterprise relational database systems (SAP, JD Edwards, etc.). 180001RA

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
