Engineer, Process Improvement (GROUP)

Job Summary:
Identifies and implements methods and processes for improvements to company operational activities. Support factory operations by implementing improvement methods and establishing techniques to promote continuous improvement.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Collect data to support initiatives
Support efforts to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) for Production and Bulk Manufacturing equipment
Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Muda, Gemba, Standarized Work) to facilitate improvement of factory operations
Assist in documenting existing and new procedures for operational areas
Assist with capital investment projects or other projects as assigned by engineering management
Qualifications & Competencies:
Promote lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods and procedures to support company goals and objectives
- Provide assistance to help improve OEE for categories related to maintenance
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
Working knowledge of statistical analysis, including SPC.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) required.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.
Bachelor's degree in engineering from a four-year college or university required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
